ELECTRONIC APPLICATIONS: THE CUSTOMS COMMITTEE EXPANDS THE LIST 24.02.2015 09:00

Resolution of the State Customs Committee (registered MU of 16.02.2015 № 925-3) amended the procedure for collection of customs fees for customs clearance of goods and vehicles outside the places and time established by customs bodies.

The document established that concerned (legal or natural) person can now apply to the customs authority in the area of operations where the respective customs clearance will be carried out, with a request to perform the customs clearance outside the prescribed area or to warn about the refusal of registration of goods and vehicles with the purpose of withholding from customs duties not only in writing, as was envisaged earlier, but also in electronic form. Note that, if the person concerned refuses from the ordered services without first notifying the customs authority, he would have to pay the specified amount of customs duties for every 1 hour of the customs officer in charge.

The resolution came into force on the day of its publication in the "Collection of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan" № 7 (663) from 23.02.2015
